Role Description

As a Product Manager at Upp, you will be responsible for building innovative, first-in-class products and capabilities that empower retailers to ensure their teams understand the value and impact of their decisions.

We are looking for a Product Manager that can innovate, focus on the customer and has the ability to validate hypothesis with data-driven insights.

You will be expected to take the lead on key technical projects. We are a sophisticated product working with various providers and systems to make magic happen!

You will be leading a team of talented Engineers, and you need to guide them to deliver quality products on time.

You will need to be able to communicate with stakeholders (tech, Leadership Team, support etc.) effectively and transmit efficient communication to the whole team.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate and lead in the ideation, development and launch of our technology.
  • Work across the company engaging and listen to feedback on the current build.
  • Share vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Work with Upp’s customers and prospect clients to determine value in our offering
  • Use data-driven analysis to provide insight for the company and prioritise the build of the product.
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products
  • Understand Upp's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that focus on providing our customers with a unique experience.

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of product role experience
  • Experience with data-centric product decision making
  • Experience in Agile frameworks
What’s “Nice to have” but not essential
  • Experience with Tools such as Clubhouse, Trello
  • Experience in the eCommerce/ online marketing
  • Entrepreneurial background or experience working in small start-ups

Role Description

Upp is building a critical part of our platform.  The team are based in London and form a close-knit unit all focused on building something special.

We need a passionate Full Stack Developer to help us achieve our mission - you will be working with the latest technology to support our roadmap. Our current stack is TypeScript, React, node.js, Java/Kotlin, MongoDB, Neo4J, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS. Our software culture promotes code quality, following industry best practice coding standards and test coverage of our code. 

You should be hungry for innovation and keen to explore and utilise all of the tools available to make your work effective, efficient and industry leading. You will work closely with the rest of the software team to build elegant, high performance solutions.

Mentality

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in TypeScript, React and node.js working in a full-stack environment with a flair and passion for frontend development
  • Knowledge of systems architecture and web technologies, RESTful API design, and exposure to scalable, distributed and real-time platforms
  • Experience working within an Agile software team (SCRUM)
  • Working closely with product and/or users to understand concepts and prototype ideas
  • Owning frontend and full stack feature builds end to end
  • Able to review current features and suggest/make enhancements
  • Contribute to the product architecture and design
What’s “Nice to have” but not essential
  • An interest in product and startups; working with a small team to take a new offering to market excites you.
  • Interest/experience in user research, product design, UX design
  • Interest/experience in infrastructure/DevOps
  • Experience in Java/Kotlin (transition code to JavaScript)

Role Description

We’re growing fast and are looking for Software Engineers to join our team. You will be a passionate developer working collaboratively with the team to deliver the next stage of our platform to delight the brands using Upp.

You will be innovative and creative with experience in building products with a clear passion for the technologies involved. You will be working with the engineering team to design and deliver scalable, high performance solutions used by leading international brands and retailers.

You will be an inquisitive hands-on technologist, delivering valuable products in fast moving creative environments and will enjoy learning technologies that are new to you.

Role Description

A fun, dynamic and professional team set within newly designed spacious and modern offices in the heart of London. Here, there’s always lots to do so you must have bags of energy and be willing to initiate and drive what needs to be done. We're a forward thinking and innovative Tech Start Up and you will become part of a friendly team who work hard towards our ambitious growth strategy.

Accuracy and attention to detail is vital to the role as is tact and discretion, with appreciation for confidentiality.

You will play a vital role in the business, key duties will be:

- Diary & email management
- Working closely with the Leadership Team and arranging and attending Board Meetings,    Weekly technical meetings and Project meetings.
- Preparing meeting minutes, distributing and follow up on action points.
- Office management and first port of call for colleagues on most matters!
- Assisting the Finance Team with ad-hoc requests and other tasks as necessary
- Assisting with planning team social events as well as client events.
