Upp is a new way to intelligently manage product information for brands and retailers. Our platform saves brands time and money by using machine learning and AI to automate the intensive manual work of configuring, optimising and sending product information to different channels (such as Google Shopping, Amazon, eBay, Instagram). But it’s not just about efficiency. Upp’s AI drives growth. It captures and understands data from across the retail ecosystem, then uses this data to provide instantly actionable recommendations, making it possible to optimise product information in response to real-time trends. That means better customer experiences, increased relevance and exposure in search and higher conversion thanks to richer product content.

Role Description

We’re growing fast and are looking for Software Engineers to join our team. You will be a passionate developer working collaboratively with the team to deliver the next stage of our platform to delight the brands using Upp.

You will be innovative and creative with experience in building products with a clear passion for the technologies involved. You will be working with the engineering team to design and deliver scalable, high performance solutions used by leading international brands and retailers.

You will be an inquisitive hands-on technologist, delivering valuable products in fast moving creative environments and will enjoy learning technologies that are new to you.

These updates provide a fantastic opportunity for us all to come together and share our knowledge and are followed by an evening of food and drinks.

Role Description

Part time – 3 days / 22.5 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate HR professional to join us and drive Upp’s strategy in creating an exceptional company to work for. This role will initially be part time to support Upp with its people function of the business.
You will be a great communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle as well as working with the Leadership team to build Upp’s People Strategy.

You will be inquisitive and hands-on, getting stuck into all areas, from the creation of documentation to strategic project work to drive forward initiatives and change. You will manage recruitment, working with our partners and developing a recruitment strategy to ensure we hire great talent.

You will deliver a strong performance culture, identifying training needs along with coaching and advising managers on all aspects of people management. You will have a breadth of experience in HR (CIPD qualified level 7 or equivalent experience) along with a through understanding of employment legislation, with the proven ability to translate and apply it in a practical context.
